The Satharban Waterfall is a serene, hidden gem located in the Sawjian valley of the Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir. Tucked away within the rugged Pir Panjal mountain range, this breathtaking cascade is surrounded by dense pine forests and expansive alpine meadows. Because of its untouched natural beauty and vibrant green landscape, the local area is frequently referred to as the "Gulmarg of Poonch," drawing nature lovers who want to escape commercialized tourist hubs.

Situated approximately 36 kilometers from Poonch town, the waterfall has rapidly become a favorite spot for local trekkers, photographers, and peace-seekers. The cold, crystal-clear water originates from upper Himalayan glaciers and crashes down a rocky cliff face, creating a refreshing mist that cools the entire valley. The journey to the falls is an adventure in itself, featuring scenic mountain drives and light walking trails through traditional mountain villages.
