**Ziarat of Sain Illahi Bakhsh Sahib, Battalkote**
The revered **Ziarat of Sain Illahi Bakhsh Sahib** is located in the picturesque village of **Battalkote**, in the **Mandi Block of Poonch district, Jammu & Kashmir**. Situated approximately **37 km north of Poonch town** and around **4 km from Loran**, Battalkote is the last inhabited village in the region. **Sain Illahi Bakhsh Sahib** was a renowned Sufi saint who arrived in Battalkote around **1948** and spent the rest of his life there. A true Darvesh, he chose a simple life, remained unmarried, and devoted himself entirely to spiritual guidance. Sain Illahi Bakhsh Sahib passed away on **16 May 1976**. Four days before his death, he informed his devotees that his earthly journey was coming to an end. He personally selected the place where he wished to be buried and requested that his body remain available for public homage for three days before burial.
